The Confident Performance Coaching Resource Center

Will My Child Receive Individual Attention in Audition Preparation Classes?

How Many Students Are in Each Coaching Session at Confident Performance Coaching?

One of the questions parents ask us most often is:

"How many students do you work with at a time?"

The answer depends on the type of coaching that's the best fit for your child and their goals.

At Confident Performance Coaching, we intentionally keep our programs small so every student receives personalized attention and meaningful feedback.

Small Group Classes

Our small group classes typically have up to six students.

These classes offer the perfect balance of individualized coaching and collaborative learning. Students not only receive direct instruction, but they also learn by observing their peers, practicing in front of others, and building confidence in a supportive environment.

Even in a group setting, every student receives personal feedback and individualized suggestions for improvement.

Larger Workshops

Some of our workshops may include up to ten students, depending on the topic and format.

Workshops are designed to provide focused instruction while still allowing time for students to ask questions, participate, and receive coaching.

Because we intentionally keep enrollment limited, students never feel like they're "lost in the crowd."

One-on-One Private Coaching

For students who want the highest level of individualized support, we offer private coaching sessions.

Private coaching allows us to create a completely customized plan based on your child's goals, audition requirements, strengths, and areas for growth.

Whether a student is preparing for:

  • Bak Middle School of the Arts
  • Dreyfoos School of the Arts
  • A college audition
  • A community theatre audition
  • Public speaking
  • Or another performance opportunity

Every session is tailored specifically to that student's needs.

We adjust the pace, focus on the skills that will have the greatest impact, and provide detailed coaching every step of the way.

Every Student Receives Individual Feedback

No matter which coaching option a family chooses, one thing remains the same:

Every student receives individualized feedback.

Rather than offering generic advice, we identify each student's specific strengths and opportunities for growth.

Students also receive personalized practice assignments so they know exactly what to work on between sessions.

This helps them continue making progress long after the lesson ends.

Why We Keep Our Classes Small

Our philosophy has always been that confidence grows through personal connection.

Students learn best when they feel seen, supported, and encouraged.

Keeping our classes intentionally small allows us to:

  • Get to know every student personally.
  • Tailor feedback to each student's goals.
  • Build confidence through positive coaching.
  • Answer individual questions.
  • Celebrate each student's unique strengths.

Our goal isn't simply to teach performance skills—it's to help students develop the confidence they'll carry into auditions, performances, interviews, and everyday life.

Which Option Is Right for Your Child?

Some students thrive in a small group where they can practice alongside peers.

Others benefit from the focused attention of private coaching, especially when preparing for competitive auditions like Bak Middle School of the Arts or Dreyfoos School of the Arts.

If you're not sure which option is the best fit, we're happy to help.
