The Following Sessions are Available:

Dreyfoos Theatre Exploration Workshop In this workshop we will thoroughly explore the three different Dreyfoos Theatre Department Tracks: Musical Theatre, Acting and Technical Theatre, what is involved in each track's audition, and assist students in making informed decisions on the best Theatre Track to pursue to fit their skills, passions and personalities. In addition, students will learn exactly what is involved in the Dreyfoos Theatre Audition process, as well as learn specific acting and audition techniques designed to maximize confidence, minimize stress, and and have a successful Dreyfoos Theatre Department audition. 7th and 8th Grade

Dreyfoos Theatre Bootcamp: In this workshop we will review all aspects of the process of auditioning for the Dreyfoos Theatre Department as well as begin choosing audition repertoire and materials, learn specific acting and audition techniques designed to maximize confidence, minimize stress, and use practice, mock auditions and feedback to move toward a confident, successful Dreyfoos Theatre Department audition. August 3-7 9-11:30 am 7th and 8th Graders

Dreyfoos Communication Exploration Workshop

In this workshop we will learn exactly what is included in the Dreyfoos Communication Department audition process, as well as build audition confidence, polish public speaking skills, begin to learn about writing speeches, improve creative writing skills and learn how to conduct a confident interview, all necessary skills to have a successful and confident Dreyfoos School of the Arts Communication Audition. July 27-31 12:30 - 3 pm 7th and 8th Graders

Dreyfoos Communication Audition Bootcamp: In this workshop we will learn, develop and execute crucial skills required to audition for the Dreyfoos Communication Department audition process. Students will write and learn to present one-minute speeches, learn to master public speaking skills, improve and practice creative writing skills and learn how to have a confident interview, as well as learn confident mindset techniques designed to maximize audition confidence, minimize stress and ensure a confident successful Dreyfoos Communication Department audition. This workshop includes a mock audition with feedback. August 3-7 12:30-3 pm 7th and 8th Graders
